Report of Oki-Island
summer course!

On 2005/07/01`07/22, a summer course on Oki-Island was held. Here is the report written by Miss. Mori.

‘"We love Japan."
@7 tatamisers (4 men, 3 women) came. A "Tatamiser" is French for someone who loves Japan. This project is the first big project of Paris SNG in France.
Mr. Toma (18) had come to Japan once. Sometimes he went to places alone (because of his curiosity for new things), so other members had to look for him on Oki-Island.
Mr. Gregoire who came from Fontainebleau, learned to play "Syamisen (a traditional Japanese guitar)" from a music teacher on Oki-Island. He was able to play it in just a week!

@Mr. Cl'ement i17j had a good time playing volleyball with Oki-Islander kids. He was very good at playing volleyball.
@Mr. Jacques (38) is a master of "Karate." He has much knowledge about Japanese religion! I was impressed.
@Miss Marlene is a good pianist. She played piano at the last party on Oki-Island. One day, she swam in the sea after which her skin was a little burnt. We learned that "sunshine in France is so different from that of Japan".
@Miss Helene is jocular and smart. She drew a sketch (it's cute!) and signed it.
@Miss Edita is like a scholar. She and Miss Helene had positive attitudes but they couldn't accept one food. It is "Noyaki (Yakikamaboko)" which is a kind of fish cooking.
They said, "This food smells terrible!"
@Anyway, 7 tatamisers had a good time!
