■　Congratulations!

　2008’s graduation ceremony was done on Alcadia Ichigaya on 20th March.

♪仰げばとうとし、わが師の恩。
教の庭にも、はや、幾年。
思えば、いと疾し、この年月。
今こそ　別れめ、いざさらば。♪

　2008’s graduation ceremony was done on Alcadia Ichigaya on 20th March. 260 students were graduating. Counting students parents and family’s members, guest people, teachers and office staffs, we had in total around 300 people. Moreover, Ruy Ramos, ex-football player and also ex-SNG’s students, gave us pleasure of your presence, putting enthusiasm into ceremony hall.

　As every year, we also had this year a special commendation. This commendation is dedicated for who had nice percentage of attendance while their student period. This year, we had 3 students that had never be late and absent while their 2 years of study. Moreover, one of them work’s for ASAHI journal, distributing journal 2 times every day, early on the morning and evening. Raining days, winding days, snowing days, however, his hardship is something wonderful, isn’t it?

　So, the graduation ceremony started at 11:00AM going until lunch time. Then we had a pause of 30 minutes and the graduation party started. As every year, people get enthusiasm with the party. We had presentations from students as musical and dancing performances, office staffs medley dancing and teacher’s presentations. After this fire off a lot of presentations, the principal weared a Japanese feudal lord’s costume and Institute Adviser costumed as Mr. KFC, for students pleasure! He is very similar to Mr. KFC and students took as lot of photos.

　While exciting performances, students appreciates the served food buffet. This time, we had also a Sushi and Soba’s stands, also appreciated a lot by students.　Party’s time was also a time for students to change e-mail addresses, to talk and take souvenirs photos with their teachers and office staffs, getting a lot of fun.
　Some graduating students will entry to universities, graduate schools, or technical school. Others, will come back into their countries or go to other countries, starting one of them a new life. We wish that all　students be in healthy conditions and having success in their activities.

■　Ski tour after graduation!

　「Please, take me to ski!」 Around 50 students and school’s staff went to ski school activity this year!

　Meeting at 1st bulding of Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute on 23th March at 5PM, take a bus and we departed to Fukushima-ken Kanewama town. Arrived on early morning, the ski school started on day after. While 3 days, they skiing, they had time to cultural exchanges, they steamed rice to make rice cakes, they went to a hot spring, they played Karaoke, bingo etc. getting a lot of fun. Thanks a lot for local people cooperation and school’s staffs work for this wonderful experience.
