■　With 6 schools attending, may the professional schools fair be opened!

　Last month university was honored, this time let it be professional schools! Six of Tokyo professional schools answered our invitation and offered us a trial lesson.

　"Not only aimed at university applicants, why wouldn’t there be an orientation session for the professional schools applicants too?"

No problem, there will be one. The invited schools prepared a trial lesson in the afternoon of the 15th of July with a view to the professional schools fair.This year the professional schools listed below gave a one hour

■ECOLE DE PATISSERIE DE TOKIO


Television, audiovisual, hotel business, fashion, cosmetics, Information Technology, confectionery production, bread making. All of these activities much appreciated and aimed by the foreign students were those of the invited schools. That was not a mere school presentation, the entire sectors of activity were presented and explained in order to make the student having them in mind. Moreover, the students, still hesitating about their studies, had been able to ask directly the schools about a whole buisness area or the real nature of a precise type of job. This was, for all that I know, much more precious than a school presentation because it made the students aware of the path they have to follow which is enlarged by such inner information.

In the end, 69 students participated. That ranks the event as a great success! If it is possible, I would like to reiterate it next year or later. I now want to especially thank all the schools that helped us during that day. Thank you very much!
