Efficient Method

The Ezoe Method and Visual Learning Japanese will give students the best chances to master Japanese in an active and efficient way and enable them to speak with confidence.

Day Trip

Visit interesting places like Kamakura and Okutama! The day trips will take you out of the city to some of Japan’s most remarkable sites.

Our Summer Course activities will help you discover Japan’s nature, authentically traditional and modern aspects of the country. Enjoy cooking Japanese food and dive into the atmosphere of Japanese festivals!

Recognized School

Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute was founded in 1975 and is accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Education and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It is ideally located in the student district of Takadanobaba, just a five minute walk from the train station and hosts more than 500 students from all over the world.

Class

Japanese language class will be held in the morning. Here is what you can learn by taking the summer course class.
Reading

Read simple letters and email with Furigana.
* Furigana: Japanese reading aid consisting of Hiragana and Katakana.

Writing

Write a 200 words essay on your memories in Japan.

Listening

Understand the gist of some basic spoken language at the station or tourist site.

Speaking

Use some basic phrases to describe past experiences or future plan. Express your opinion about movies or places you visited.

Communication

Ask and answer questions about personal details by using basic phrase. Ask and answer the location of things.

Others

Acquire parts of speech and inflection.
Brush up on knowledge of your Japanese grammar.
Better understanding of Japanese culture and etiquette.

Requirements: JLPT* N5 level, the first half of what is covered in CEFR* A1, Minna no Nihongo chapter1-13 Students who do not meet the requirements will be joining our weekday class.
