We are now accepting applications for 2012 Hokkaido Homestay.
There are four different programs to choose from.
Escape Tokyo for a refreshing, cool summer experience!

① Toyako summer homestay (Hokkaido)

Organized by：Toyako Intercultural Exchange Committee
Location：Toyako, Hokkaido　
Dates：From 8/25 (Sat.) to 9/2 (Sun.)
Number of participants: 4 students total. If there are more than 4 applicants, the school will choose based on a variety of factors.
Participation fee： 50,000 JPY (includes flight, travel insurance, and activity fees)　
Not included in the participation fee: Transportation fare to Haneda airport, ingredients fee for the food party and other personal expenses.

② Natsu-no tsudoi homestay program (Hokkaido)

Organized by: Hokkaido International Foundation
Location: Southern Hokkaido
Dates: From 8/22 (Wed.) to 9/1 (Sat.)
Number of participants: 10 students total. If there are more than 10 applicants, the school will choose based on a variety of factors.
Participation fee: 72,000 JPY
Not included in the participation fee: Transportation fare to Tokyo station, meal money for 2 dinners, and other personal expenses.

③ Douou homestay program (Hokkaido)

Organized by: Hokkaido International Foundation
Location: Central Hokkaido
Dates: From 8/22 (Wed.) to 8/31 (Fri.)
Number of participants: 2 students total. If there are more than 2 applicants, the school will choose based on a variety of factors.
Participation fee: 70,000 JPY
Not included in the participation fee: Transportation fare to Tokyo station, meal money for 2 dinners, and other personal expenses.

⑤ Farmstay program (Hokkaido)

Organized by: Hokkaido International Foundation
Location: Southern Hokkaido
Dates: From 8/22 (Wed.) to 8/28 (Thue.)
Number of participants: 2 students total. If there are more than 2 applicants, the school will choose based on a variety of factors.
Participation fee: 79,000 JPY
Not included in the participation fee: Transportation fare to Tokyo station, meal money for 2 dinners, and other personal expenses.

Application Information

Qualifications: Beginner II or above, 80% attendance or greater. Must be able to follow the directions of the homestay staff and participate in all activities. Must be fit to represent the school. These programs are not sightseeing tours.
