On September 2 (Sun.), a Japanese traditional festival was held at the Tenso shrine. 12 SNG students participated in the festival and carried the Mikoshi (portable shrine) around the city to bring the good fortune. The weather was unfortunately rainy and thus it was quite hard to keep carrying. However, they did it with a lot of vitality. After a while, they took a break at our school and had bento (Japanese lunchbox) offered by the festival volunteers. After that, the students continued to carry the mikoshi even after lunch. Some students stayed until the end of the festival.
