On July 9th, a Japanese speech contest “shabereon ’12” was held in Shinjuku Cultural Center.

One of our students, Ms. Akiyo Suzuki (Advanced I / b class) participated in this contest together with
14 students from other language schools, universities and graduate schools.
Akiyo’s topic was “the beauty of the Japanese language”.

Her speech content and pronounciation were outstanding – and she won 1st place!
