On November 26, under clear autumn skies, the intermediate class visited the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum.
Before the trip, the students learned about the historical background of the buildings and their value as cultural properties, preparing themselves with the knowledge needed to enjoy the visit even more.

On the day of the excursion, they split into groups and explored the museum while taking on a quiz. Throughout the grounds, you could see students happily discussing their answers in front of the historical buildings.
It was also the peak of the autumn foliage, and many students couldn’t resist taking photos of the colorful leaves and the buildings, fully enjoying the scenery unique to this season.

As they walked through spaces rarely encountered in daily life—such as Edo-period bathhouses, wells, and old shops—they were able to experience the atmosphere of life in the past.

The quiz prepared by the teacher included some challenging questions, such as those about roof structures and different types of traditional shops. Students worked together, talking things through as they searched for the answers.

It was a memorable day of learning, surrounded by scenery that can only be experienced in Japan.
