On December 6, the 64th Japanese Speech Contest for Foreign Residents was held, and Ms. Adé (PETIT ADELAIDE JACKY FRANCOISE) french student from our school won two awards: the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award and the Audience Award.
On this occasion, Ms. Abe, a representative of the speech contest committee, visited our school for the award presentation.

For this event, Ms. Adé delivered a speech on the theme “My Strategy for Mastering Japanese.”
She introduced a unique study method—using puns to memorize commonly confusing Japanese homophones—sharing her own experiences in an engaging and enjoyable way. Her performance captivated both the jury and the audience, earning her this double award win.

Ms. Adé also prepared a short acceptance speech to express her gratitude for the support provided by the school staff during the preparation for the contest, as well as to thank the members of the committee for their recognition
“I would especially like to thank the teachers, without whom I would not be standing here today,” she said.

This was followed by a series of commemorative photos with the people who contributed to this journey. The next step is to find a place to proudly display the two trophies
We wish Ms. Adé continued success in her studies at our school and in her future projects in Japan.
