On June 25, a memorial gathering was held at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo to honor the memory of Mr.Takahide Ezoe, the former Principal and Chairman of our school.

The event brought together alumni, faculty, staff, and friends who had been touched by Mr. Ezoe’s warmth, wisdom, and tireless dedication to education.

Several moving tribute speeches were delivered by people who were close to him, offering personal insights into his character and his lifelong dedication to students. Through a series of photos and videos, attendees were able to look back on his life journey and the profound impact he had—not only on our school, but on Japanese education more broadly.

Mr.Takahide Ezoe devoted his life to making Japanese language learning more accessible for foreigners and vulnerable learners. Throughout his life, he developed and refined the Ezoe Method, an innovative teaching approach that uses visual symbols and gestures to teach grammar intuitively, enabling learners of all backgrounds to grasp Japanese structure more easily.

Following the speeches, there was a quiet moment of individual remembrance. Each person was invited to lay a white rose in his honor and spend a moment in silent reflection.

Mr. Ezoe’s vision and kindness continue to guide our school. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him and in the mission of the institution he helped shape.

We sincerely thank everyone who joined us to honor his memory and share in this meaningful occasion.
