Japanese school in Tokyo

Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute (SNG stands for Shinjuku Nihongo Gakko in Japanese) is an educational foundation authorized by the Ministry of Education and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Our institute offers Japanese language courses to over 500 students coming from more than 50 countries around the world. Students have benefited from the teaching expertise of SNG for the last 40 years. Our school is ideally located in the student district of Takadanobaba, the student area Tokyo.
We employ the Ezoe Teaching Method, a unique and visual learning method, fine-tuned for teaching Japanese to foreigners. Combined with our blended learning system “Visual Learning Japanese” (created in collaboration with NTT Communications), students can continue practicing at home, thus learning the Japanese language basics faster. Our school is situated in a Tokyo student district of Takadanobaba. There are different metro and JR stations nearby so that you get an easy access.
